Color Schemes

MONOCHROMATIC

A monochromatic scheme uses only one color.  You can use any shade or tint of that color.

COMPLEMENTARY

A complementary scheme uses colors that are directly across eachother on the color wheel.  In this case, I used Blue and Orange.
